  • Have a smartphone, mobile number and email address

  • Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident or otherwise have the right to work in Australia

  • Have held an unrestricted Australian driver licence for at least 6 months

  • Have an ABN and be GST-registered

  • Hold a current Driver Accreditation

  • Be listed as the insured driver on the insurance

Vehicle Requirements in VIC

Vehicles must meet the state government’s requirements and must be in great condition, free of any damage and decals. The vehicle must:

  • be no more than 10 years

  • have a minimum of 4 doors

  • seat a minimum of 4 passengers

  • seat a maximum of 6 passengers

  • not be an ex-taxi

  • pass a Redbook rideshare vehicle inspection in the past 12 months

  • be covered under a current third-party or comprehensive insurance

  • be registered as a Commercial Passenger Vehicle in Victoria

Driver requirements in NSW

  • Have a smartphone, mobile number and email address

  • Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident or otherwise have the right to work in Australia

  • Have held an unrestricted Australian driver licence for at least 12 months
