We’re thrilled to release a new video series, Night Riders, with local Melbourne artists Gretta Ray and ALTA in collaboration with LNWY. This two-part series follows from DiDi’s exciting partnership with Melbourne Music Week 2018 as the Official Rideshare of MMW.
Night Riders traverses through the highs and lows of being an up-and-coming artist in Australia. The artists muse over their connection to Melbourne and what it means to play at Melbourne Music Week while cruising in the back seat of their DiDi rides through the iconic city streets.
DiDi will be safely transporting performers and attendees to and from venue locations throughout the annual nine-day celebration.

Melbourne Music Week – the only event of its type in Australia – illuminates the connections between music, people and places, via intimate, interactive experiences in unconventional venues with headline performances. The program reflects the depth and diversity of Melbourne’s creative music industry.
This year, the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI) will host The Hub, showcasing a curated line-up of artists in collaboration with some of the country’s most respected promoters, known for their multi-sensory cinematic sets. A DiDi ’vinyl of fortune’ will be set up inside the LightWell so attendees can spin to win prizes.
Melbourne Music Week runs from 16 to 24 November and is proudly presented by City of Melbourne. Event-goers are advised to download the DiDi App prior to the event to make the most of the exclusive offers.
