METHODOLOGY
How the impact was measured
This study was commissioned by DiDi and carried out by NGAGE Consulting. It combines different methodologies including an Input-Output model derived from Egypt's national accounts to measure the economic impact and econometric consumer surplus modelling.
In addition, the analysis included surveys of DiDi users, in-person interviews, and the geospatial analysis of representative trip-level sample data.
