You will need to submit a copy of your full, current Victorian Driver Licence.
You must have held a valid full Drivers Licence in Australia or New Zealand for a minimum period of 6 months.
State Regulations in Victoria require Driver Partners to hold a special type of licence called Driver Accreditation (DA) which is issued by Safe Transport Victoria (STV).
You will need to submit a Valid Driver Accreditation (DA). Safe Transport Victoria may require you to undergo a medical assessment as part of the application process.

Please note that Driver Accreditation is different from Commercial Passenger Vehicle Registration (CPVR).
A clear photo of yourself (in JPG, JPEG, PNG format, at least 200 x 200 pixels) is needed to help riders to find you.
Your photo must:
Match photos on your drivers licence and passport and;
No hats or glasses (regular glasses and religious garments are accepted)
Full face and top of shoulders
Good lighting and not blurry
Only one person in the picture
Clear, unobstructed background
Should be a coloured photo
You will need to provide a primary form of ID (other than your drivers licence), such as a valid passport, travel document, Immi card, Australian or New Zealand birth certificate or citizenship certificate.
Proof of ID must meet the following requirements:
Show the holder is over 21 years of age
Show all four corners of the document and the document is not cut off
Have the appropriate working rights
You will need to declare that your vehicle is insured. Your vehicle must have a current third-party damage or comprehensive insurance cover, on which you should be listed as an insured driver.
Please note that this is an extra insurance cover on top of your CTP insurance.
For your declaration please make sure your vehicle insurance meets the following requirements:
Be current (not expired)
Vehicle must be manufactured within 15 years
You must be an insured/listed driver on the policy
Be comprehensive or third party property damage and insured for ridesharing
Your vehicle used to provide a commercial passenger transport service should be registered in VIC and be registered at all times. You only need to declare that you have the current vehicle registration.

You must ensure that your vehicle passes a vehicle inspection and it should be done annually.
Please note that we accept both the Vehicle Inspection Report from an approved inspection station OR the certificate of roadworthiness (also known as a ‘roadworthy’ or ‘RWC’) document from a Licenced Vehicle Tester. Please click here to find the Roadworthy Tester Location.
The vehicle Inspection document must meet the following requirements:
Issued within 12 months of your application or within 30 days if you are submitting the RWC document
Must show a pass result
Must submit every page of the vehicle inspection report.

Your vehicle must be registered as a commercial passenger vehicle. Registered commercial passenger vehicles are legally allowed to provide commercial vehicle services in Victoria.

A copy of your Australian drivers licence and passport (current, expired within last two years but not cancelled)
